Couldn't have asked for a better ceremony or a more beautiful place to be married. The Ribbon Mill is a true diamond in the rough.
Built in 1918, the Carlisle Ribbon Mill was a functioning ribbon mill until about 1987. The building sat mostly empty until the McCarren family bought the property in 2003. They spent the next few years bringing it back to life and in 2006 started restoration on what is now the Carlisle Ribbon Mill Banquet Facility.
The Carlisle Ribbon Mill
Unique Wedding Venue
I could have never imagined my wedding would have gone as perfectly as it did, and that is largely because of the Carlisle Ribbon Mill and Sarah. The Mill is beautiful, spacious, and elegant. Sarah was so helpful I don't know how we could have done it without her, she was an efficient worker with set up and tear down, had numerous ideas to help the wedding run smoothly when hiccups arose, and was there whenever anybody needed her. She is so kind, easy to work with and offers intelligent and wonderful ideas to help keep the event going when you have a frenzy of people running around. And my favorite part of the Mill was the bridesroom! It was stocked with everything I didn't realized I needed until the last minute (like deodorant and mouth wash, thank you Sarah!)I recommend this venue to anyone, it really was the perfect place for our perfect day. Thank you!!
Helped plan and attended my daughter's wedding at the Ribbon Mill on October 19. Fantastic venue and Sarah was great to work with. Thank you for all your help.
